Highlight Milk looks simple, but it’s a liquid product \u2014 which means the application rules are different from a powder highlighter. Get it wrong and it can look patchy or disappear into your base. Here’s how to use it correctly.<\/p>\n

Three Ways to Apply It<\/h2>\n

1. Underneath makeup (most popular method)<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Apply to clean, moisturized skin before foundation or concealer.<\/li>\n
  2. Dot a small amount on the high points: cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow.<\/li>\n
  3. Blend with fingertips until it disappears into skin \u2014 you should see a glow, not a visible product layer.<\/li>\n
  4. Apply the rest of your base makeup on top as normal. The glow will show through.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. Mixed into foundation<\/h3>\n

    1. Add a small drop of Highlight Milk to your foundation in the back of your hand, or directly in your palm.<\/li>\n
    2. Mix and apply as normal for an all-over, lit-from-within finish rather than a targeted highlight.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      3. On top of finished makeup (for more definition)<\/h3>\n

      1. Apply a small amount over set makeup, directly on the highest points of the face.<\/li>\n
      2. Blend quickly with a fingertip or damp sponge \u2014 liquid products can disturb powder products underneath if you over-blend, so use a light touch.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The Most Common Mistake<\/h2>\n

        Using too much at once. Because it’s liquid, Highlight Milk looks sheer in the tube but builds up fast on skin. Start with less than you think you need \u2014 a pea-sized amount covers the whole face for method #1 above.<\/p>\n

        If You Want More Definition Instead<\/h2>\n
